Volunteer Input
Yesterday, 3 October was my first day on the shared learning project and I was immediately made to feel welcome by Adam who gave me a quick tour of the archive before our session started. I certainly enjoyed my first "handling" of the accessioned items and learning how to repack and label various artefacts in the correct way. One thing that was helpful when I was working with Debbie and Sally was to check what the others had done so that we avoided making any mistakes. We need to ensure for the first couple of weeks that we understand the system and get things exactly right. I am looking forward to next week, and I am sure we will all be a lot quicker.
