Adam is one of 3 assistant curators at LAARC and is responsible for the archive's registered / accessioned objects. His background is in Classical Archaeology, in particular the Roman period. After graduating, he worked as field archaeologist on sites within London as well as supervising training excavations in Rome. In 2004, having previously volunteered at LAARC, he joined the LAARC team and has since engaged in educational outreach sessions, in house open days, external open days as well as day to day duties such as managing the volunteer program and improving the storage and condition of the collections.
He is the main LAARC co-ordinator for this project and is looking forward to seeing how it will progress, hoping participants will finish their 12 weeks with a understanding of archaeological practices and archiving processes.
